Star Wars The Old Republic

Being an avid fan of the Star Wars movies and gaming all my life, I've naturally had an interest in playing Star Wars games on the computer. However, most Star Wars games really didn't work for me for some reason. Sure, some were occasionally good of course but either they were just made to squeeze more money out of the Star Wars fanboy or weren't done very well., period So in general I think it'd be safe to say they missed the "soul" of the Star Wars saga.

However, the Knights Of The Old Republic games were something else. Even though they took place far earlier than the movies' time frame they, for me, captured the soul of the Star Wars universe. And on top of that they were surprisingly good with enthusing stories and memorable gameplay moments.

Well, now they're making an MMORPG game out of the Old Republic era and have released a new trailer movie. The movie itself blew me away. If you haven't seen it already, go and see it now. Seeing this, I wish they made an entire movie about the old republic. I'm sure that it would be welcomed by many fans. The game itself looks very interesting and fun. All that said, I have to say that I'll definitely be staying clear from this game as I have my wife, my career and my life to think about.
