Creative Differences Sketchbook

Creative Differences, my first ever sketchbook, is almost ready and I will have copies available at NYCC 2009. If you're not attending the convention, have no fear. A limited amount of the sketchbook will also be available for purchase through my good friend and art dealer, Rich DeDominicis's website www.TheArtOfComics.com

Meanwhile I've finally been assigned my table in NYCC which is L3 in Artist Alley. It should be very easy to locate. Of course I will be seated with Yildiray Cinar and Jay Faerber next to me. Swing by and say hi.

New York New York!

For the second time in a row I'll be in NYCC this February. I'm already very excited and this time around I'll have a table in the Artist Alley. I'll be sharing the table with my good buddies Yildiray Cinar and Jay Faerber. More info on the table location to be added later.

I'll be doing sketch commissions all weekend. I'll be sketching on a first come first serve basis. Here's more info on the commissions I'll be doing at the show;

Commission Sketches - $100 - Single character full figure - Grayscale marker (might have occasional single color)

Bust Sketches - $40 - Single character bust/torso shot - Grayscale marker

And here are some commission samples from last year;

Below are some of the original art I'll be bringing to the show. The prices will range from $75-$150. The water colour Red Sonja is priced at $250. Please write me if you are interested in buying any.

These pieces are on hold;

This year I'll also have a sketchbook for sale for the first time. I'm busy putting it together right now and can't decide on the amount I should get printed so let me know if you'd be interested in getting one. Make sure you vote in the poll I'll be posting.

Well I guess that's about it. Looking forward to meet you all in NY so drop by and say hi!

If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'll try to reply as best I can.

Fantastic Four Archives

Amongst all the work I've been doing I've managed to work on 150 sketch cards for Rittenhouse Archives/Marvel Comics's Fantastic Four Archives project.

These are hand drawn sketch cards that were placed in the card set packages. Each package included an original hand drawn sketch card. I've used Copic markers and Copic Multiliner pens to draw these.

Click on the images to see them larger. Hope you enjoy.
